The rationality allied with Christianity did not contribute to this approach. The occidental education was basically commanded by intellectuals with the Cartesian and platonic inheritance, where body and soul seems to be totally dissociated. To approach corporeity and the rational activity field became one of the greatest challenges in education, within the necessity of a re-humanized learning for ethic and for the human being. This work consists in an approximation between Yoga and Education. This relation will be presented as the educational challenge of the XXI century. Next, some of the Yoga practice fundaments - Yamas, Niyamas and Asana, will be showed as the elements for the human formation. Afterwards, among the Yoga fundaments some of them will be detailed, the ones that can contribute to the overcoming process of the educational challenge.
