The Historical-Cultural Theory haveas reference the epistemological basis theHistorical Dialectical Materialism. Six young people from a public school in theSão Paulo, Brazil, participated in the study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted in order toproblematize photographs and filming. The results pointed out that participants hadappropriated some human objectifications, such as activities and spaces that include leisure, music, literature and other artistic manifestations. Although such objectionshadled to the confrontation of school bullying, through resilience in itself, developed in the dialectical relationship between mechanisms mediating risk and protection, such confrontation is punctual, because students continue to focus on the model of socialorganization that produces thisviolence.
