    El presupuesto público de educación chileno en el siglo XXI y la política de expansión inclusiva del sistema educativo

    The work analyzes the expansion of the budget of the Ministry of Education of Chile in this century, which has faced decisive changes for the strengthening of school education, as well as free higher education, which weigh on resources, its efficient use, and the fulfillment of objectives of the educational system. It seeks to account for a phenomenon on a national scale, little studied, in order to show the budgetary changes associated with the processes of social demands and disputes between the privatizing practice imposed in the 1980s, with attempts to change towards a conception of social rights in education. The analysis is based on publicly available information. The results show important changes in the provision of resources that have not similarly promoted public educational outcomes, opening up questions in this area.
