    Qualidade de vida no trabalho e subjetividades docentes

    This article arises from an excerpt from a theme about teacher training and work. The focus is on the issue of quality of life in teaching work and its relationship with the configuration of subjectivity of teachers and their daily professional practices. The universe researched was composed of regent teachers (conducted and permanent) in Elementary School (6th to 9th year of the final years cycle) who have been working for more than 15 years in State Schools in the city of Araxá/MG. We believe that we have built knowledge that favors approaches to dynamic issues related to the real world of education and work and to the subjectivities of the teaching subject. The actions of the teachers, in the spaces of knowledge and work production, were taken up and observed. Among the results, it can be seen that, based on the world, its daily life and its history, teaching practice and subjectivities are being built. By confronting and meeting reality, they are affected by working conditions, new educational requirements, the almost non-existent or poorly used free time available for leisure and social relations outside of teaching work, capable of enhancing new attitudes that provide quality improvement of life of these professionals. We realized the need for systematic, expanded and organized actions of teacher training, capable of approaching and/or triggering teachers' commitment to a reflective practice, a permanent investigative attitude and a sense of authorship in the projects in which they are involved. And more: that conditions are created so that the teacher has space and time to collectively share the problems faced in the exercise of teaching.
