- Item“Vos no… en esa posición, sí o sí, un hombre”: representaciones acerca del género e intervención docente en la formación(2020) COMPOMAR, Glória del Carmen; ZIMMERMAN, Mario Andrés; FULUGONIO, Julia; AÑASCO, AlejandroChairs which deal with body and motor practices in the UNLaM Physical Education Training College implement their classes in coeducational commissions. Our objective was to assess the representations regarding gender problems among PUEF students. In the present exploratory study of qualitative approach, focus groups have been conducted and student’s accounts have been assessed. Advanced students consider more complex points of view, which articulate biological and social aspects. They also appreciate how beneficial coeducational practices might be and emphasize the difference between educational and competitive sports practices. Female students feel discriminated against by teachers and that their skills are not appreciated. Coeducational practices allow them to have access to activities which they would not otherwise have been able to. Male students feel discriminated against because of lack of masculinity if they move away from gender stereotypes.
