    Investigação sobre acoes metodológicas realizadas segundo as metas dos PCNs de Matemática

    This study presents the results of a qualitative scientific initiation research (PIBIC/CNPq) carried through in two public schools of the school district of Bauru. The aim was to generally investigate which method has been used in the classes of Mathematics of 7th /8th grades based on the National Educational Guidelines (LDB) and the National Curricular Parameters of Mathematics (PCNs). The data from the interviews with coordinators, Math teachers and students from 7th and 8th grades of elementary school, were grouped in units of meaning that allowed to bring to light the excellent allusive aspects to the methodological actions that have been developed by teachers and perceived by the students through the use of the convergences or divergences of the units of meaning it was verified that the methodology modifications desired by the PCNs are not present in the classrooms; it pointed out the aspects that make it difficult the implementation of these actions and, still, showed the teacher’s understanding of the need to accomplish the changes in the educative process to answer to the yearnings of modern education.
