Investigação matemática no contexto interdisciplinar da escola do campo: o embelezamento de uma cisterna

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta os resultados da execução de um projeto realizado durante o programa de Residência Pedagógica na componente curricular Educação do Campo,que objetivou realizar uma ação de investigação matemática no contexto interdisciplinar de uma escola do campo, envolvendo uma prática de embelezamento de uma cisterna. Para tantoo projeto foi realizadoseguindo as etapas: caracterização das comunidades atendidas pela escola; produção de desenhos representativos das comunidades; aplicação da metodologia de Investigação Matemática para dividir a cisterna em 10 partes iguais; diálogo sobre a importância da cisterna em uma escola e conceitos relativos ao uso consciente da água; e pintura em cada parte dividida, utilizando os oito desenhos escolhidos para representarem as comunidades. Conclui-se que este projeto contribuiu na promoção de conhecimentos por meio de metodologias diferenciadas, que possibilitam que haja um vínculo com a realidade dos mesmos. Como se trata de uma prática interdisciplinar, foi oportunizado ao educando estabelecer ligações entre as diferentes áreas do conhecimento e entender a relação teoria e práticaThisarticle presents the results of the execution of a project carried out during the Pedagogical Residency program in the Rural Education curricular component that aimed to carry out a mathematical investigation action in the interdisciplinary context of a rural school, involving a practice of embellishing a cistern. Therefore, the project was carried out following the steps: characterization of the communities served by the school; production of representative drawings of the communities; application of the Mathematical Investigation methodology to divide the cistern into 10 equal parts; dialogue about the importance of the cistern in a school and concepts related to the conscious use of water; and painting in each divided part, using the eight drawings chosen to represent the communities. It is concluded that this project contributed to the promotion of knowledge through different methodologies, which allow for a link with their reality. As thisis an interdisciplinary practice, the student was given the opportunity to establish links between the different areas ofknowledge and understand the relationship between theory and practice
