Forma escolar: uma máquina cilizatória

Abstract

Neste interessante exercício de resenhar um livro, que inclui uma ação reflexiva, o texto intenta resgatar traços do trabalho intitulado “A emergência da Escola”, escrito pelo professor titular do Departamento de Educação da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, José Gonçalves Gondra, publicado no segundo semestre do ano de 2018. Trata-se de um trabalho de fôlego, cujas reflexões tiveram o seu gênesis aproximadamente dez anos antes da sua publicação. Constitui-se, portanto, um empreendimento interessante para retomar necessárias reflexões a respeito da história de nossa educação e as contribuições de um intelectual engajado na causa educacional brasileira.In this interesting exercise of reviewing a book, which includes a reflexive action, the text tries to rescue traces of the work entitled “The emergence of the School”, written by the head professor of the Department of Education of the State University of Rio de Janeiro, José Gonçalves Gondra, published in the second half of the year 2018. It is a breath-taking work, whose reflections had their genesis approximately ten years before its publication.
