Abstract

A filosofia surgiu na Grécia antiga, mais precisamente nas colôniasgregas da Ásia Menor e do Sul da Itália, então chamada Magna Grécia,entre o final do século VII a.C. e o início do século VI a.C., quando oshomens começaram a pôr em questão as idéias e crenças relativas ao mundo e à existência humana, tidas como verdadeiras e, ao mesmo tempo,a buscar explicações racionais para o que antes parecia natural.Philosophy emerged in ancient Greece, more precisely in the Greek colonies of Asia Minor and southern Italy, then called Magna Graecia, between the end of the 7th century BC and the beginning of the 6th century BC, when men began to question ideas and beliefs regarding the world and human existence, taken as true and, at the same time, seeking rational explanations for what once seemed natural.La filosofía surgió en la antigua Grecia, más precisamente en las colonias griegas de Asia Menor y el sur de Italia, entonces llamada Magna Graecia, entre finales del siglo VII a.C. y principios del siglo VI a.C., cuando los hombres comenzaron a cuestionar ideas y creencias sobre el mundo y la existencia humana, tomados como verdaderos y, al mismo tiempo, buscando explicaciones racionales para lo que alguna vez pareció natural.
